Upendra Yadav warns of stronger protest after Dashain

JANAKPUR, Oct 18: Federal Socialist Forum-Nepal (FSF-N) Chairman Upendra Yadav on Sunday threatened to launch stronger protest in Tarai after Dashai festival.  Organizing a Press conference here today, Yadav ruled out the prospect of the talks in existing scenario.

 He further claimed that hill origin ethnic groups will also join the ongoing Madhes movement after Dashain.

On the occasion, Yadav also expressed dissatisfaction over the use of languages in the letter sent by the government summoning the agitating parties for talks.

“Ongoing Madhes protest cannot be withdrawn rather it would intensify due to the language used in the letter,” Yadav argued.

He added that they are preparing to intensify the protest although it has been softened currently due to upcoming Dashain Festival.
 
At the program, Yadav further added that the mere amendment in the constitution will not be enough if their demands are not addressed at the earliest as Mahdesi people now are voicing for replacing this constitution by new one.
