Uncurbed youth in Gulmi thrash radio workers

GULMI, April 4: A group of uncurbed youth thrashed two workers of Sky FM radio while they were returning home after their duty in Gulmi last night.



A group of around 12 youths led by Arjun Rajbhandari and Kiran Rajbhandari of Dhagithum, Tamghas thrashed technician Ganga Ram Pandey and program coordinator Badri Thapa.[break]



Local residents helped the media men after they called for support.



Federation of Nepali Journalists, Gulmi Chapter, condemned the attack over the journalists and demanded action to the guilty issuing a press release on Monday.



The press statement signed by FNJ secretary Bharat Pandey demanded for immediate action to the guilty saying the activities have terrorized the media persons and the villagers.
