UML to move SC for HoR restoration

KATHMANDU, Nov 19: The CPN (UML) has decided to file a writ petition at the Supreme Court demanding the restoration of the House of Representatives.

On Tuesday, the meeting of members of the dissolved House of Representatives representing UML concluded that the writ petition with their signatures would be filed, shared the party's Chief Whip Mahesh Bartaula. Bartaula. Whip Sunita Baral have been authorized to register the petition.


At the meeting held at the UML central office, Chyasal, party Chair and former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli had expressed the view that both a legal remedy and a peaceful struggle should be undertaken for the restoration of the parliament.
