Speaking at a press conference organized by Press Chautari Nepal, Pokhrel said that considering the current situation of the country, president should not stay as a mute spectator.[break]
Referring to the political parties’ differences over options of reinstating Constituent Assembly (CA) or to go for fresh polls, leader Pokhrel, however, emphasized on the need of forging consensus before choosing either options.
In another context, he also accused the incumbent government of lengthening it tenure by declaring the new poll date.
