"A meeting of the secretariat committee today [Monday] has decided to convene a discussion among lawmakers from all the political parties on Tuesday. At the all-party gathering we plan to formulate a common program to effectively run the campaign," said Kandel.

The members of pressure group also talked to CPN-UML Chairman Jhalanath Khanal and demanded that a meeting between the group and CPN-UML Standing Committee members.

"We took the decision thinking that we at first need to pile pressure on our own party´s leaders themselves on crucial issues of the peace process and constitution writing," explained Kandel.
