UML leader Khanal participates in clean-up campaign

LALITPUR, June 14: Senior leader of CPN-UML and former Prime Minister, Jhalanath Khanal, on Sunday took part in a clean-up event held at the premises of Batukbhairab Temple in Lagankhel.

At the program organized by the UML Constituency No 3, leader Khanal joined volunteers to clean up the areas surrounding the Buddha Stupa. Also attending the event were Minister for General Administration, Lalbabu Pandit, UML leader Shankar Pokharel, Lalitpur District Chairman Hari Krishna Byanjankar, among others.


The team also cleaned the Mahalaxmi Temple premises in Mahalaxmisthan.

On the occasion, former Prime Minister Khanal called on party cadres to engage in the reconstruction task along with relief distribution to the quake survivors.
