"All Nepali people were awaiting such an agreement among the parties. The seven-point deal has been signed as per the aspiration of the people and it was the need of the hour," said a statement issued by the party secretary Yubaraj Gyawali after the meeting.[break]
Endorsing the deal, the third-largest party emphasized on the need of implementing the deal as per its real spirit.
"It is a common understanding to implement all the agreements related to the issues of the peace process by November 23. Our party calls upon all the political parties and the present government to accomplish the tasks within the time frame outlined in the agreement," read the statement.
