UML chair Khanal expresses sorrow over Ilam death

KATHMANDU, Oct 1: CPN-UML Chairman Jhalanath Khanal has expressed sorrow over the missing of 14 persons along with the five vehicles they were travelling in at the incident that took place at Kolbung VDC-2 of Ilam on the Mechi highway on Sunday night.



In a statement here today, Chairman Khanal has drawn the attention of the concerned sides towards ensuring the rescue and search of those missing, and to resume traffic on the highway.[break]



Mr Khanal has also paid tributes to those killed in the incident and demanded that the Government makes necessary arrangement for the treatment of those injured.
