UDMF cadres target Bimalendra Nidhi’s house in Janakpur

JANAKPUR, Feb 1: Cadres of United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF) on Monday torched a motorcycle at the house of Nepali Congress leader and lawmaker Bimalendra Nidhi.

A parked motorcycle, Ja 3 Pa 9438, was reduced to ashes in the arson at Nidhi’s house at Janakpur-1, Mills Area.

Protesters pulled down the compound wall and also pelted stones inside the house.

Nidhi’s sister-in-law Kiran Nidhi has sustained injuries in her hand, arm and back in the attack.

The mob also broke some half a dozen chairs at the premises of the house.

In charge of Railway Station Police Post Ayodhi Prasad Yadav said that police and neighbors doused the fire.
