UDMF bigwigs to leave for Delhi Sunday

RAUTAHAT, Dec 4: On invitation of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, top leaders of United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF) will be leaving for New Delhi, India on Sunday.

Chairman of Federal Socialist Forum Nepal Upendra Yadav, Chairman of Tarai Madhes Democratic Party Mahanta Thakur, Chairman of Sadhbhawana Party Rajendra Mahato and Chairman of Tarai Madhes Sadhbhawana Party Rameshwor Raya Yadav will board Air India flight to Indian capital at 8:30 am on Sunday, according to the source.Source added Indian PM Modi invited the leaders for discussions after leaders of opposition party criticized the government over Madhes protest and blockade.

It is learnt that UDMF leaders will also meet Indian Minister for External Affairs Sushma Swaraj.

Former Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai, who left for India today, will be also be present at the talks with Madhesi leaders in Delhi, source claimed.
