The party announced the brigade as per the proposal endorsed by the seventh national assembly of the party held in Hetauda on February 2-6 last year in a bid to boost production and entrepreneurship in the country.[break]
UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal announced the body under the leadership of former YCL Kaski district chief and YCL central secretariat member Deepak Koirala amidst a function here this morning.
The brigade, named as Annapurna Production Brigade, comprised of various former members of the Youth Communist League as members.
