He has houses and pieces of land, gold and silver, bank savings and shares of financial institutes, a vehicle and a scooter in the name of his wife and father. Besides, the Tripathi family has three cows, a pair of oxen and two buffaloes.
Similarly, Minister for Health and Population, Rajendra Mahato, has houses and pieces of land in Kathmandu, Sarlahi and Dhanusha districts. He owns 95 tolas (11.66 grammes make a tola) of gold, three kilograms of silver, bank deposit of around Rs. 700,000, bank shares, a vehicle, five buffaloes and three cows, it is learnt.
