The deceased have been identified as Jeep driver Krishna Baral, 22 of Sunwal, Nawalparasi and Pradeep Maharjan, 20 of Jahada-9, Nawalparasi. [break]
Critically wounded Prakash Thapa, 18 of Bardaghat is undergoing treatment at Bharatpur Medical College, informed district police office, Chitwan.
Maharjan and Thapa, both were traveling on the ill-fated jeep during the time of the incident.
According to police the truck (Na 3 Kha 620) en-route to Narayanghat from the capital collided with the jeep (Lu 1 Cha 4293) bound to Kathmandu from Chitwan.
Police are further investigating the case.
