Two killed in bus collision

BHIMPHEDI, Aug 24: Two persons were killed and 60 injured when a Narayangarh -bound bus from Birgunj and another bus heading to Hetauda from Narayangarh collided at Basamadi VDC-3 of Makwanpur along the East-West Highway on Monday.



The deceased have been identified as bus drivers Dipendra Adhikari and Girija, the police said.



Police rescued the injured passengers of both the buses and took them to Hetauda Hospital for treatment. The hospital said five critically injured passengers have been sent to Bharatpur Hospital for further treatment.
