Police arrested Ram Chandra Mandal of Jhutaki-1 and a local Ram Lakhan Mandal. [break]
A team deployed from the District Police Office, Saptari arrested them along with 3.5 kg marijuana from Jhutaki VDC, acting on a tip-off.
At first, police seized the marijuana from a house of Ram Chandra and they arrested Ram Lakhan on the charge of his involvement in marijuana trafficking, based on the statement given by Ram Chandra, according to the Office.
Deputy Superintendent of Police, Yub Narayan Baidya said investigation into the case is underway.
