According to police, the aromatic herbs weighing 25,256-kg were being illegally exported to India through an Indian Truck (UK 06 CA2797). Among the herbs being smuggled were Kaulo, Nepali Pepper, Chiraito and Kaladana.[break]
The smuggling bid was detected in a regular security screening of police.
Indian nationals Alik Ahamad Kuresi and Najim Ahamad Kuresi were arrested in this connection.
