Two color gas cylinder from Feb 2: Fin Secy

KATHMANDU, Jan. 31: Secretary at the Ministry of Supplies Lalmani Joshi has said that the government would implement the provision of two-color LP gas cylinders from coming February 12.



Speaking at an interaction programme in the capital on Thursday, Secretary Joshi said preparations were underway to implement the government´s decision from February 12 as the procedure to this effect has already been endorsed by the Council of Ministers.



Joshi said that the provision was delayed due to some legal issues. "Tasks like trademark, grant and price list have been concluded and only implementation is left," Joshi said.



He also said that after the implementation of the government decision, price of the blue color cylinder allocated for industrial use would be dearer while the price of red cylinder to be used for the household purpose would remain the same.
