KATHMANDU, Jan 6: Police arrested two individuals with brown heroin from Deepsagar Hotel in Gongbu, Tokha Municipality–9, last night.
The suspects, 26-year-old Mahendra Tamang from Belkotgadhi Municipality–11, Nuwakot, and 22-year-old Niruta Adehi Magar from Dhorpatan Municipality, Baglung, were arrested with 6 grams and 440 milligrams of brown heroin, police said.

Police from Gongbu Police Post conducted a search of Room No. 515 at the hotel and seized the substance, according to the Central Police Information Desk.
Meanwhile, police have arrested 25 people with drugs from various parts of the country, including Jhapa, Dang, Sunsari, Morang, Rupandehi, Siraha, and Kailali districts.
