According to the company, TVS Phoenix 125 is targeted at people who aspire to upgrade from just commuting to those who crave a spirited ride experience without wanting to compromise on mileage.
Speaking at the launch, Auro Asish Choudhuri, the general manager for international business at TVS Motors, said the company has developed a new engine for the new bike which complements several unique features to ensure a premium ride experience. [break]
“As of now, we are present in the economy, executive and premium segment of motorbike segments. This launch will increase our market share in the segment,” Choudhuri said.
Meanwhile, Arun K Chaudhary, the managing director of CG Moto Corp, said “We have and will continue to strive for enhanced customer satisfaction for our existing and new TVS customers.”
Moreover, Chaudhary said that a new and attractive offer will be announced before the upcoming festive season of Dashain and Tihar.
The newly launched TVS Phoenix incorporates features such as a fully digital speedometer, backlight in premium amber, a digital fuel gauge, low-battery reminder, trip meter, service meter and soft texture grips, among others, a series of firsts in the segment, according to TVS. The company said the new bike offers car-like hazard lamps for added safety of the riders.
TVS Phoenix 125 has highest power-to-weight ratio in this segment and is equipped with EcoThrust technology that ‘magnifies the joys of riding’, says the company.
Other features of the bike include aircraft-inspired decals, ‘rotopetal’ disc breaks, LED pilot lamps, and alloy wheels.
The company has set an introductory marked price of RS 169,900 for the TVS Phoenix 125.
