TU cancels BA-level exams, schools to reopen after 2 weeks

KATHMANDU, May 13: All exams of the Bachelor's third year level for students of Tribhuvan University (TU) have been postponed indefinitely.

A board meeting of the Office of Controller of Examinations (OCE) held on Wednesday decided to postpone the exams following Tuesday's magnitude 7.3 aftershock.

OCE Deputy Controller Narayan Belbase told Republica that the office would issue the fresh exams schedule 15 days before the exams. Over 150,000 students are currently enrolled at BA third-year level at TU constituent and affiliated colleges across the country.
