Tree plantation campaign on bicycle

JANAKPUR, Aug 31: Prof Dr Chandra Mohan Yadav has launched a tree transplantation campaign on a bicycle with a view to promoting the President Chure Conservation Program.

The campaign kicked off in 15 Village Development Committees (VDCs) under the Dhanusha constituency No.-5 is also aimed at reducing impact of climate change.



"Trees our future", "let´s plant trees, save the future" and "let´s prevent the Madhesh and nation from turning into desert lands" are slogans of the campaign.



At least two saplings will be planted in every ward of these VDCs during the campaign, it is learnt.
