KAVREPALANCHOWK, May 7: Vehicular movement along the BP Highway, which had come to a standstill for the past three days due to flooding, has resumed from this morning.
Traffic along the road section has come into operation after the construction of a diversion. The road was blocked due to flooding in the Roshi stream following rainfall on Monday.
Traffic resumes on BP Highway following police intervention
The District Police Office, Kavrepalanchowk, has requested everyone not to travel via this road section except in case of urgency, as rainfall is still continuing.
Vehicular movement has been restored after constructing a diversion in the stream, following last year’s landslides and floods that swept away around 18 kilometres of road at Chaukidanga, Roshi, and Nepalthok of Sindhuli along the BP Highway.
Construction of the damaged section of the highway is currently underway.
