CPN-UML Chairman Jhala Nath Khanal and Bharat Mohan Adhikari on Tuesday morning held informal talks with UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal and vice chairman Mohan Baidhya at Dahal´s residence at Naya Bazaar.
Likewise, UML General Secretary Ishwar Pokharel and Secretary Bishnu Poudel had reached the residence of Maoist Vice Chair Dr Baburam Bhattarai at Shantinagar in the evening.
Meanwhile, NC Vice President Ram Chandra Poudel held informal meeting with the Maoist Vice Chair Narayan Kaji Shrestha in the afternoon. However, the meeting between NC and UML scheduled for Tuesday did not take place.
The meeting is likely to be held on Wednesday.
