Speaking at a program in Bharatpur, he said that, "Different parties have different opinions and ideas, to stick to the individual opinion and to seek consensus from all the parties is a total waste of time."
The political parties have difference over the major knotty issues like system of governance, electoral system and state restructuring commission among others and the issues are still under deliberation, he informed.
Adding that consensus can be formed on these issues as well if the parties become sincere towards the process. Federalism has been accepted by all the parties only few issues related to it are left to be sorted out, he said.
The process of integration of the ex-Maoist combatants into the Nepal Army will be concluded soon, Dahal assured.
Since the combatants opting for integration are more than what had been decided earlier, the combatants will be given a second chance to opt for voluntary retirement, he said.
"We are giving a second chance to the combatants to opt either for integration or for voluntary retirement, the process will start soon, Dahal said.
