The meeting will be attended by UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Nepali Congress (NC) Vice President Ram Chandra Poudel and CPN-UML Chairman Jhala Nath Khanal.
Maoist Chief Whip Post Bahadur Bogati, Vice Chair Narayan Kaji Shrestha and Dev Gurung, NC Chief Whip Laxman Ghimire, Dr Ram Sharan Mahat, Radheshyam Adhikari and Ramesh Lekhak and UML Chief Whip Bhim Acharya, Bishnu Poudel, Yuvraj Karki and Agni Kharel will also attend the meeting.
Nembang had called the meeting among the big three parties on June 23 to expedite constitution drafting process.
According to NC leader Dr Mahat, Sunday´s meeting will focus on finding ways to settle contentious issues that have surfaced while the preparing preliminary draft reports.
Though all the eleven thematic committees have prepared preliminary drafts, only three have so far been forwarded to the Constitutional Committee (CC) that is entrusted with preparing an integrated draft report.
The parties´ have failed to decide whether to adopt presidential or prime ministerial system, bicameral of unicameral parliament, type of electoral system, and the model of federalism, among several other issues.
The big three parties have failed to make any headway as the Maoist have been insisting that Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal step down as per the three-point deal.
The ruling NC and the UML, however, have maintained that the Maoist should first agree on the work plan with time table for the integration and rehabilitation of Maoist combatants and promulgation of the new constitution.
Party leaders said Sunday´s meeting is also expected to discuss ways to end the current political deadlock.
