Three Nepali umpires in ACC T20

KATHMANDU, Oct 4: Three Nepali umpires will be in officiating matches during the ACC Twenty20 Cricket to be held in UAE from November 20 to 30.



Buddhi Bahadur Pradhan, Binaya Kumar Jha and Sanjay Gurung are among 10 umpires in the event. “We have received the confirmation from ACC about it,” Jha said.



Jha also officiated in the first edition of the ACC T20 in Kuwait in 2007. The trio has also officiated during the Pepsi ICC World Cricket League Division 6 in Singapore last month.



Meanwhile, Pradhan is participating in the annual meeting of the ICC umpires. He is a member of the ICC Associate and Affiliate Panel (AAP) of umpires.



The meeting, scheduled from October 8 to 11, will be attended by members of the ICC Elite Panel, International Panel and the AAP.
