Three children killed as house caves in

PALPA, Sept 9: Three school kids of a single family died after their house collapsed at Dumri Pokhara village of Deurali-3 in Palpa on Wednesday morning. All three children of Prem Kumari Saru were killed in the 4 a.m. incident.



Those dead are Pushpa, 16, Ram Bahadur, 14, and Roman Bahadur, 11, according to Police Sub-inspector Narayan Basnet of Harthok Police Post. Two buffaloes were also killed in the incident. Locals retrieved the bodies of the kids at 5 a.m.



Locals said the house collapsed after torrential downpour. The father of the kids Purna Bahadur works in Mumbai.
