Akash Ghosh of Bhadrapur- 12, Udesh Pandit of Bhadrapur-9 and Gausiya Rahaman of Bhadrapur- 8 were arrested for investigation, according to Jhapa District Police Office.
Superintendent of Police Ravindra Sharma said the bomb might have been detonated with a view to terrorizing and extorting local businessmen.
A cylinder bomb was detonated in front of a house of industrialist Sanjaya Goyal in Ward No 2 of the municipality three days ago.
Three bombs found
Meanwhile, three socket bombs were found in between in Jaleswor of Mahottari district, Friday.
A team of security personnel has reached the site to defuse the bombs, according to Superintendent of Armed Police Force at APF Border Security Office Janak Bahadur Bohara. Details are awaited.
