At the meeting held at the Poudel residence at Bohoratar in Kathmandu, they held talks on the latest political situation of Nepal, ongoing talks among political parties and international cooperation for election, said Poudel´s aide Chiranjivi Adhikari. [break]
On the occasion, Director Thompson enquired about the election preparations for Constituent Assembly (CA) and the progress made on talks among parties for ensuring participation of all parties in election.
The election should be held in time, and for that, the international community is ready to cooperate, Poudel quoted him as saying.
Poudel also informed him that talks process was intensified with dissenting parties to hold election on November 19 and expressed the belief that the talks will be fruitful.
Also present during the talks were British ambassador to Nepal Andrew James Sparkes, said Adhikari.
