The villagers thrashed Ashok Pasi of Sitapur, India after they caught him stealing from the house of Raju Sikh. An unconscious Pasi was then handed over to the local Belbhar police post. He died while being taken to Bheri Zonal Hospital for treatment, District Police Office Banke said.
