The British College organizes blood donation campaign

KATHMANDU, Feb 11: The British College has organized a blood donation campaign on Thursday and managed to collect 101 pints of blood from 192 people.



Hatemalo Foundation, which executes the college's corporate social responsibility programs as extra-curricular activities, organized and managed the campaign in collaboration with Nepal Red Cross Society.

"The campaign organized by our students is very worthwhile. We believe the blood collected through the campaign will help people who need it. We hope that our campaign saves many lives," said Rajan Kandel, chief executive officer of the college.


Safalta Shrestha, coordinator of Hatemalo Foundation, said that the college students and staff will continue their social activities in future as well.


 The British College, located in Thapathali, has been offering courses like BBA, MBA, MSc International Management, among others, in collaboration with the University of West of England. Over 800 students are taking these courses from the college at present.
