NC General Secretary Prakash Man Singh and Spokesperson Dilendra Badu reached to Sanothimi-based Thakur residence seeking support on the constitution amendments proposal filed by the earlier in the parliament secretariat.However, Thakur rejected the NC's proposal stating that the issues like constitution amendments among others should be address in package rather make any individual approach.
"Congress approached Thakur looking for support on constitution amendments while the later suggested that the parties move ahead only after resolving issues related to demarcation of provinces," Singh's aide UP Lamichhane said.
Lamichhane also said that Thakur had expressed reservation over the ruling allies' failure to address the 11-point demand submitted by agitating Madhesi parties.
