Thakur registers on electoral rolls

KATHMANDU (REPUBLICA): Tarai Madhes Democratic Party (TMDP) Chairman Mahantha Thakur has registered on the new electoral rolls with photo and biometrics.



“The registration of our party Chairman Thakur on the electoral rolls has paved the way for our party´s participation in the Constituent Assembly (CA) polls,” said Jitendra Sonal, joint Secretary of the party. Earlier, TMDP was at odds with the government over constituency delineation.
