Thakur demands extending time for voter's list registration

MAHOTTARI, Aug 2: Chairman of the Tarai-Madhes Loktantrik Party (TMLP), Mahantha Thakur, has demanded to extend the time for voters´ list registration although the schedule for election to the Constituent Assembly (CA) has been already published.



At a news conference organised by TMLP District Working Committee at the district headquarters Jaleshwor on Friday, Chairman Thakur blamed that voters´ list was the latest example of discrimination by the government and the state. [break]



He clarified that federalism with identity and constitution with federalism is the need of the country.
