Sports ministry plans training for youths

KATHMANDU, March 3: Ministry of Youth and Sports has said it was planning to create job opportunities by providing commercial trainings to youths.



As many as 2,000 youths would be provided trainings to make them active in personal and entrepreneurial development.[break]



The youths attending trainings would also be provided allowance of Rs 2,000- 5,000 per month.



According to Joint Spokesperson at the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Surya Prasad Sharma, the youths would get handicraft and sculpturing training in the first phase.



The unemployed youths aged 16-40 will be included in the training.



The training period would be 6 months to a year.



The Ministry would take into account the geographical region and educational attainment while selecting youths for the training.
