Colleges classified for HISSAN scholarship
KATHMANDU, July 30: The member colleges of Higher Secondary Schools Association, Nepal (HISSAN) have classified the colleges for HISSAN scholarship to 119 SLC passed football players.
The players will be given two-year scholarship by 12 different member colleges of HISSAN.
The players were selected by the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) across the country as per the agreement with HISSAN.
Among the selected 119 footballers, 20-25 of them will be given full scholarship after conducting selection among them on Monday, said ANFA Vice-president Lalit Krishna Shrestha.
HISSAN will make food, accommodation and study arrangements free of cost to the players selected for full scholarship while rest of the selected players will be given only free study facilities. The players will be trained by ANFA.
CCRC has given scholarship to highest 11 students while nine colleges-Kathmandu Valley, Little Angels´, Kathmandu Don Bosco, Xavier Int´l, Pinnacle, Golden Gate Int´l, Whitehouse, Nobel Academy and VS Niketan - have given scholarship to 10 players each. Redhorn College and Trinity Int´l have awarded scholarships to nine players each.
