Social Fragrances

I am a broken statue, I don't see you have a heart either.

By Sushant Thapa

I left divinity
and wore social fragrances,
and they left me too.
Collective unconsciousness
has taught me to be conscious
in this society, ironically.
I am a broken statue
I don't see you have a heart either.
Suicide kills me.
This societal relationship
like a flashy and fragile trend
has drained my youth away.
I am forced to buy love
like I am loveless,
even if I breathe happily
under this starry night.
My society is without a guardian.
You measure society
like a beauty doll,
and look away when
wrinkles appear.
