According to Exam Controller Surya Prasad Gautam, 496,243 students across the country appeared in the exam.[break]
Gautam said the exam concluded smoothly and those who found creating chaos in exam centers were punished.
Among the students, 229,791 male and 206,620 female were regular examinees while 25,805 male and 34,027 female were from exempted section. A total of 4,578 male and 3,662 female students were from 89 open schools.
In Manang, the district having lowest number of students, 122 students appeared in the exam this time. There were 1,672 exam centers across the country.
