Six leopards killed in eight months

LAMJUNG, Feb. 24: The trend in killing leopards is on the rise in Lamjung district.



The leopard is an endangered species of wild cats. [break]



The number of leopards killed by the locals of different villages in the district has reached six in the last eight months after the locals of Schooltar, Suryapal VDC-9 killed yet another leopard recently.



Locals killed the leopard that was found near the Mangala Higher Secondary School. They beat the wild beast to death.
