Six hurt in police-protesters clash in Kapilvastu

KAPILVASTU, Aug 18: Six agitators were injured in clash between police and demonstrators at Taulihawa, Kapilvastu district on Tuesday.

Various Madhesh-centric political parties have been waging agitation in the district for some days, demanding united Madhesh Tharuhat Province.


Of the total six injured, three who got shot by police, were reported be in a critical condition, according to Dr Pawan Kumar Agrahari of Taulihawa Hospital.

Lawmaker Brijesh Kumar Gupta accused the administration for the atrocity on the agitators who were agitating peacefully. RSS
