Six held on abduction charge

RATNANAGAR, Chitwan, Jan. 14: The District Police Office Chitwan has arrested six persons on the charge of abduction.



They were arrested for their involvement in the abduction of Damodar Tiwari of Gaidakot in Nawalparasi on Friday.



They had abducted Tiwari, who was running a Medicare in Shahid Chowk of Narayangadh, said Chitwan police Chief Deepak Kumar Thapa.



Those arrested are Chhogel Dong of Pashupatinagar, Ilam, Dorje Tamang of Siddhi in Ilam, Bir Bahadur Bamjan and Bikram Singh Gurung of Makwanpur,and Subit Adhikari of Kathmandu.They were arrested from Gondrang of Chitwan along with motorcycles, police said.
