In medal´s tally, Saila Rana lies behind Dhital who claimed two gold medals on Monday to take her gold tally to three. Rana, elder sister of Sailesh grabbed gold medals in 200 m individual medley and 100 m breaststroke.
Rana covered 200 m medley distance in 3:06:63 minutes and 100 m breaststroke in 1:42:15 minutes. In medley, Dhital and Oshin Bharati secured silver and bronze medals respectively. In breaststroke, too, Dhital who settled for bronze gave tough challenge to Rana finishing the distance in 1:43:53 minutes.

Under men´s section, 13 year-old Sirish Gurung claimed twin gold medals on Monday and took his gold tally to three overnight. He secured gold in 200 m and 100 m freestyle. Gurung finished 200 m in 2:19:56 minutes coming ahead of Sailesh Rana who clocked 2:20:19 minutes.
Miraj Prajapati satisfied for bronze. Gurung completed the 100 m distance in 1:03:87 minutes leaving behind Rana in second position. Rana clocked 1:04:24 minutes and Prabesh Adhikari settled for third position.
Banin Shrestha claimed his maiden gold in the National Games in 100 m breaststroke. Shrestha finished the distance in 1:19:86 minutes, while Rana covered the distance in 1:20:69 minutes. Suman Maharjan took home bronze.
