During the meeting that took place at Nepal´s residence at Koteshwor, the two leaders exchanged views about how to take the political parleys ahead to find a way out to the present political crisis in the country.[break]
The leaders are learnt to have discussed about the matters of forming national consensus government along with guarantee of new election to the Constituent Assembly.
During the meeting, leader Shrestha said his party and Prime Minister Dr Baburam Bhattarai has a stance that formation of national consensus government under the leadership of Nepali Congress President Sushil Koirala was not possible and urged Nepal to think about the third alternative.
In response, leader Nepal opined that the name of Koirala was proposed for the new prime ministerial candidate through a meeting among the three major political parties and it would not be appropriate to move back from the proposal.
The meeting also stressed on intensifying talks and dialogues at the political level to end the present political crisis in the country.
