While this is her third Paleti recital, this is special because the entire performance will feature her compositions. Thatal will also be presenting some songs which have never been hears on the Paleti stage.[break]
She said, “Along with a few of my new compositions, I’m presenting my cantata for the first time in Nepal. Cantata is usually performed by a larger group of musicians, with an orchestra and a group of male and female singers. However, we’re trying to present the essence of my composition with a limited team. I’m glad it’s coming out well.”
Accompanying her will be Paleti singers Suraj and Meena, and singer Sangeeta Pradhan who will be singing some of her fresh compositions.
The composer and singer recently performed at the Paleti Utsav on August 11.
