Shaha, Shakya share lead Ncell golf league

KATHMANDU, March 1: Gaurab Bikram Shah and Purna Man Shakya are jointly on top of second tournament of Ncell Golf League being played at Gokarna Golf Club. Both of them scored 32 points in the second league which makes the total to 70 points.



Suryansh Chaudhary scored amazing 46 points to score the highest point in the league while Kesang Lama score 37 to finish second.[break]



The leauge will be played over four-months (February - May). There will be total of eight events to be played under stableford format with full handicap and the player scoring highest stableford points in eight events (six best score cards will be counted for the total score) will be declared champion.



Similarly, the player securing best gross score will also be awarded as Ncell Amateur Leauge - best gross champion.



Gen KNS Thapa with 69 points and Kesang Lama with 67 points are in overall third and fourth places respectively. Gopal Chitrakar with 66 points and Jitendra Shrestha with 65 points are in fifth and sixth spots respectively.



Ang Tshiring Sherpa and Rabindra Man Shrestha are tied seventh with 60 points and Suhrid Ghimire and Tendi Sherpa are tied at ninth place with the score of 59 points.



Players participating in the league should play one competition round within 15 days and should be accompanied by 2 other players who are participating in the league. There are 35 players participating in the league.
