Sexual minorities call for equal rights

ITAHARI, Dec 26: People of third gender have complained that the State was discriminating them to use the rights with due respect despite the Supreme Court (SC) guaranteed equal rights to them.



Speaking at an interaction organized in Itahari, they said the State was violating the verdict of the SC by not providing rights and opportunities to the people of sexual minorities.



On the occasion, they demanded to implement the verdict of the SC to provide equal rights and opportunities.

Speaking on the occasion, the people third gender said they were abused and were facing hardships in the society as well.
