However the top leaders including party chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal, and vice-chairs Mohan Baidya, Dr Baburam Bhattarai and Narayankaji Shrestha will address rallies in Kathmandu.
The meeting of the party´s mass mobilization committee took a decision to this effect Wednesday.
The meeting decided to send CP Gajurel, Girirajmani Pokharel, Top Bahadur Rayamajhi, Lilamani Pokharel and Amik Serchan to Biratnagar, Pokhara, Dang and Dipayal, respectively.
The meeting also reached a conclusion that preparation for the party´s movement has been largely successful. The meeting also objected to the police raid and search in the places where the Maoists are currently taking shelter.
The party has warned of dire consequences if the government did not immediately stop “harassing” the cadres and its “suppressive measures”.
