Second Economic Census 2082: Training for enumerators begins

KATHMANDU, April 9: A five-day training programme for enumerators assigned to the Second National Economic Census 2082 has commenced nationwide today.

According to Deputy Chief Statistics Officer and spokesperson Dhundiraj Lamichhane, the training will be conducted concurrently from 84 offices across the country. He shared this information during a programme organized here on Wednesday. 


The event was organized by the National Statistics Office in collaboration with the Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ).


He stated that the selection process for the required enumerators has already been completed, and necessary coordination has been carried out with the respective local levels.


Once the training concludes, the enumerators will be assigned to their duties. Previously, Nepal conducted its first National Economic Census in 2018.
