Sanjog Thakuri is Yuwalaya’s new President

KATHMANDU, March 1: Sanjog Thakuri is the new Yuwalaya president elected at its second general convention held in Lalitpur last Saturday (February 27). Thakuri is an active youth rights activist working for young people's participation for over 15 years. Yuwalaya's outgoing President Subash Neupane handed over the office to Thakuri on the very day.

The convention also elected Sabin Singh, Santosh Maharjan, Rubina Shrestha and Chetana Tulachan as Vice-President, General Secretary, Member Secretary and Treasurer respectively.

The newly elected nine-member executive committee of Yuwalaya will run the office for the next two years.

Yuwalaya is a youth-led non-government organization working for and with adolescents and youth for the last two and half years.
