Sanima announces 20% bonus shares

KATHMANDU, Sept 3: Sanima Bank Ltd has announced 20 percent bonus shares to its shareholders.



Issuing a press release on Thursday, the bank said that the bank's board meeting held on Wednesday decided to propose 20 percent bonus shares and 1.05 percent cash dividend to its shareholders.

The decision, however, is subject to the approval of Nepal Rastra Bank and the bank's upcoming annual general meeting. According to the release, the bank earned Rs 1.05 billion in operating profit and Rs 624 million in net profit after tax in 2014/15.


"The bank's deposit, loan and total assets stands at Rs 34 billion, Rs 28.58 billion and Rs 40.30 billion, respectively, as of mid-July 2015. We had NPL of a meager 0.07 percent at mid-July 2015," the release added.
